Korean language teacher at King Sejong Institute, SF
<Requirements>
– Legally authorized to work in the U.S
– Bilinguals in Korean and English
– Available at Wednesday or Thursday evening
– Must meet one of the following qualifications (No Exception)

 

<Qualifications>
– 한국어교원 자격증 소지자 (문화체육관광부 발급)
– 외국어로서의 한국어 교육 학사 또는 석사학위 소지자
– 한국어 교원양성과정을 이수한 자
– 어문계열 또는 언어교육 학사학위 이상 소지자로 성인대상 한국어교육 경력이 1년 이상인 자

Administrative assistant / Bookkeeper at Korean Center, Inc.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or high school equivalence diploma
– Bilinguals in Korean and English
– Legally authorized to work in the U.S

 

Ability to:
– Be detail oriented, communicate well as a team and to prioritize
– Be knowledgeable of and proficient in Quickbooks & Microsoft office products

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:
– Perform general bookkeeping duties including record and distribution of receipts and disbursement in the journal and general ledger
– Prepare payroll and record the daily financial transaction data
– Keep files in order and sort out the payments
– Prepare bank reconciliation and make bank deposits
– Common responsibilities as a receptionist included
– Provide general information about all programs accurately
– Provide administrative / clerical assistance to coordinate programs and to keep internal records
– Process all tuition payments and report on a daily-basis
– It is plus if you are able to provide social services to Korean seniors
– Other duties as assigned

 

Work schedules (total 17 hrs a week):
– Wed & Thursday: 2 – 7:30 pm
– Friday: 9-3 pm

Korean interpereter/translator Pool
Korean center, Inc. has received requests for Korean-English translators/interpreters in various occasions. Those requests are from the city, government projects, business meetings, conferences or private matters. We would like to share these chances with you.
