Serving the community is central to KCI’s mission — whether it is supporting seniors through meals, wellness classes & social services, or bringing the community together to celebrate Korean traditions, or offering opportunities to learn about Korean culture. We welcome your input as we continue to expand our programming, so please contact us if you have feedback and/or suggestions.
Program News & Updates
> KCI, with funding from SF New Deal and the support of 53 volunteers, delivered 6,000 meals to 150 Korean seniors in San Francisco over two months. We are extremely grateful to SF New Deal and restaurant partners (Namu, K-Elements BBQ, and Wooden Charcoal Korean Village Barbecue House) for their generous support!
> Starting June 19th, KCI continues supporting vulnerable Korean seniors with a weekly food delivery program, thanks to a generous grant from the Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco and partnership with SAMS American Eatery.
> All KCI classes and programs continued to be either offered online or are tempoerarily cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and city guidelines on in-person gatherings. We will keep you informed of changes through our monthly e-newsletter, here on our website, via email, and on our instagram or facebook accounts.
