Development & Communications Manager

Korean Center, Inc. (KCI) is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco. KCI provides and promotes programs, events and information that illuminate Korean culture, assist Korean residing in the San Francisco Bay Area and foster multicultural understanding among all cultures and generations. Looting to the future, we endeavor to promote and culture in the SF Bay Area by expanding educational classes and cultural workshops and events for youth, adults and seniors throughout the year.

Development & Communitcations Manager

The Development & Communications Manager (DCM) is a newly created position at KCI and will play a key role in KCI’s ability to achieve its ambitious strategic goals. The DCM will work closely with the Program Director and Development Committee of the Board of Directors to increase KCI’s revenue, revenue sources and visibility in and relations with the Bay Area community.

Program Coordinator

KCI Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator’s responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the day-to-day implementation of planned educational and cultural activities for social service and senior programs; Senior Meal Delivery Programs, Translation of resources, Service Referrals, etc.

Program Assistant (Temporary/Remote)

Korean Center, Inc.(KCI) founded in 1974, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community by providing informational, educational, and social services to underserved immigrant and other communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Korean Language Program (KLP) for adult is funded through the King Sejong Institute (KSI), a global network of 213 affiliates supported by the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the International Korean Language Foundation. The KSI was established to support and promote Korean language education and Korean culture around the world.

Position Summary

Program Assistant is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating and managing all aspects of the KLP and day-to-day program operations. As an integral member of the KCI team, the Program Assistant also supports related programming and events, and reports to the Program Director. The position requires bilingual (English-Korean) fluency.

Korean Language Instructor for Adult Program (King Sejong Institute in San Francisco)

Korean Center, Inc. (KCI) in San Francisco is looking for qualified Korean Language Instructors.

KCI offers a year-round Korean Language Program in partner with King Sejong Institute (KSI). King Sejong Institute is the integrated brand name of an institute of Korean Language study supported and designated by the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Various level classes are offered for those who want to learn Korea language and culture at KCI.

Qualifications and Skills:

Applicants MUST meet one of the followings

-Have a Korean Language Teacher’s Certificate(한국어교원 자격증 소지자)

-Have completed Korean Language Teacher education training Course(한국어교원 양성과정 수료자)

-Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in language or language education with at least one year’s experience in Korean Language education (어문 계열 또는 언어 교육 학사 이상 소지자로 한국어 교육 경력이 최소 1년 이상인 자)

 

Rate: $30-35/hr
