Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish made of salted and fermented vegetables such as napa cabbage and radish. As a staple in Korean cuisine, kimchi is typically eaten at every meal and is often used in a variety of Korean dishes. Join our workshop where you can learn how to make your own kimchi from scratch!

Led by Ashley Jeong-a Hwang, Director/Cooking Instructor of Tasty K, you’ll get a hands-on learning experience and a chance to have a food tasting in this workshop. Afterwards, you can take home the kimchi you made to share with your friends and family.

Workshop held in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco and the Korean Food Promotion Institute.

Date/Time: Friday, Sept. 30, 4-6pm

Location: Korean Center (1362 Post St)

Tickets: $30
