WELCOME!
KCI offers a variety of Korean language classes — from basic grammar to advanced conversation — for those who want to learn about Korea and its language and culture.
KCI is one of 213 affiliates worldwide of the King Sejong Institute (KSI), an institution under the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the International Korean Language Foundation, established to support and promote Korean language education and Korean culture around the world.
Conveniently scheduled once a week in the evenings, the classes are perfect for working adults as well as students seeking to further their academic, professional, or personal goals. All instructors possess or qualify for advanced degrees in education and Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language (TKFL).
It’s a Community of Korean-learners!
Whether you’re taking your first step towards learning Korean or you’ve been studying Korean for awhile, learning a language is a continuous process and can often feel lonesome in awhile.
At the Korean Center, we provide an all around program with everything you need to learn Korean. From qualified teachers, small class size, and a set curriculum devised by King Sejong Institute, we strive to be more than just a language school. Students on average spend about 3-4 semesters (which is equivalent to one year or so) once they join our Korean Language Program. You’ll have a chance to get to know your classmates and motivate each other.
We provide 2-4 cultural events throughout the semester, offering a chance to learn about Korean culture (food, pop culture, music, drama, you name it), providing not just a language education, but for you to take one step closer to understanding Korean as a whole. On top of that, we provide new student orientation at the beginning of the semester as well as biweekly Korean speaking club for KLP students to connect with one another.
QUALIFIED TEACHERS
All our instructors are certified Korean language instructors from accredited Korean universities.
SMALL CLASS SIZE
We limit each class to 7-9 students in order to provide a quality learning experience.
