COVID-19 RESPONSE PROGRAMS

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, KCI implemented two programs during 2020-2021, in partnership with other nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. These programs supported vulnerable Korean seniors by delivering meals and groceries, and provided access to important pandemic-related information and resources to limited English speakers through translations into Korean. Additional resources will continue to be translated, as needed, to support our community of Korean speakers.

Dear KCI Community,

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy these days as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our community with new strains emerging all the time.

The Korean Center has, and will continue to closely monitor updates from the SF Public Health Department and follow their and the CDC’s health recommendations and guidelines. KCI will do our part in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, students and Center users.

The Center has started to open for limited in-person activities, and we hope to open more fully to the public soon.  Meanwhile, should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at: [email protected].

Please stay healthy and safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back in person soon!

Thank you,

KCI Team
